Stock And Crops Dying In South African Heat Wave

Livestock are dying and crops wilting in a heat-wave that is scorching many parts of South Africa.
Reports from the Kalahari Desert say that temperatures of 118 degrees are scorching the hooves of cattle, and the sand is hot enough to boil eggs. In Northern Natal, a serious drought is feared. Farmers are seeking the aid of rainmakers.
