Jockey Club Bars List Of Race Runners

The Jockey Club again decided against overnight declarations of runners in English racing and Britain thus remains the only country in the world where this practice does not operate. In every other horse racing country, the lists of runners are available at least 24 hours before the racing starts, but in England the provision of a reasonably accurate list of probable runners and jockeys is left to the press.
