£250,000 Gift By Lord Nuffield For Surgical Research
LONDON, Dec. 9. Lord Nuffield has {riven £250,00(1 lo the Royal College of Surgeons of England for the promotion of research and education in surgical sciences.
The gift will be used to erect a College of Surgical Sciences attached to the Royal College of Surgeons. The college will be known as the
Nuffield College of Surgical Sciences. The gift is intended to increase the facilities and amenities for young surgeons, particularly those from the Dominions and other countries who come to Britain to study. Lord Nuffield has now made gifts totalling over £25,000,000 to help education and medicine.
