Forced German Labour For Uranium Mines

(10 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 9. News has reached the British sector of Berlin from reliable sources that Russians have begun a drive to obtain forced labour for the uranium mines at Aue, in the Russian zone, says the Daily Telegraph’s correspondent in Berlin.

The reports say that already about 400 men of the 3000 between the ages of 20 and 45 required have been ordered to report for medical examination. They have been told they must serve in the mines for a year.
