TRUMAN TO HEAR MME. CHIANG’S PLEA FOR U.S. AID
(10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 9. President Truman said today that he would. hear China’s plea for more American aid from Madame Chiang Kai-shek at the scheduled tea on Friday—which Mesdames Truman and Marshall also will attend, The President said he did not know if he would see Madame Chiang Kaishek again.
