Extra Aircraft Services
That New Zealand has gone more air-minded than ever this Christmas is instanced by the many inquiries for seats on aircraft to all parts of New Zealand received at the Gisborne office of the National Airways Corporation. Bookings on aircraft in and out of Gisborne over the holidays are heavy, as is the care on practically all routes. On the main trunk route, extra Lodestar aircraft between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch are being flown from December 18 to 28 and again between January 12 and 15. Extra Dakota services are also being flown between Auckland and Christchurch between December 22 and 23. The Wellington Dunedin services also will be augmented.
