Gladiolus Flowers Viewed
The opportunity of viewing about 10.000 gladiolus bulbs in all stages of growth was availed of by about 200 members of the P.B. Horticultural f iety and their friends on Sunday afternoon, when the gladiolus gardens of Messrs C O. Hansen and F. Birkett were opened for a field day. Many of the larger varieties of gladiolus were in flower, while the shoots from othei bulbs were just showing through the ground The field day was a preliminary to the gladiolus and summer flower show to be' held in the Army Hall tomorrow and .Wednesday,
