12 Men on Strike
Drivers who transport milk to the New Zealand Dairy Company's factory at Waharoa. near Matamata, are on strike. Twelve drivers are involved. Farmers are taking their own milk to the factory, which takes a supply of 50,000 gallons a day. It is understood that no outside drivers are being allowed to operate, also that the dispute concerns the question of discipline.
