Black.—At Cook Hospital on Nov. 30, 1943, William (Scotty) Black, late of Otara Station, Puha. and loved father of Mrs. Janet Foss, 57 Salisbury Road. Gisborne, aged 77 years. A service will be held in Cochrane's Chapel tomorrow, Thursday, at 12.45 p.m., the funeral then leaving for the Taruheru Cemetery. T. N. Cochrane, Funeral Director, Butler.—At her residence, 48 Centennial Crescent, on November 30, 1948, Lily, beloved wife of Ernest Henry Butler, in her 73rd year. A service will be held in Cochrane's Chapel on Thursday at 1.45 p.m., the funeral then leaving for the Taruheru Cemetery. T. N, Cochrane, Funeral Director. McNaught—At the home of his sister-in-law, 1 Stanley Rd., on November 30, 1948, George McNaught, aged 62 years. Returned soldier (Croix de Guerre). A service will be held in Cochrane's Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m., after which the funeral will leave for the Soldiers' Plot, Taruheru Cemetery. T. N. Cochrane, Funeral Director. Raven, John.—On Nov. 29th at his late residence, 268 Ormond Rd. A service will be held at Evans’ Chapel, Wi Pere St., tomorrow, Thursday, at 10 a.m., after which the funeral will leave for the Taruheru Cemetery.
