FIFTEEN FORMER ALL BLACKS IN CHOICE FOR 1949

The North and South Islands each supplied 15 of the Rugby players announced on Saturday as the All Blacks to visit South Africa next year. Otago heads the provincial union representation with 10 players, Auckland comes next with nine, South Canterbury has three, Canterbury, Wanganui and Waikato two apiece and Hawke’s Bay and Wellington one each.
