OLYMPIC TEAM RETURNS TO N.Z
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 4. Accompanied by a rousing haka by the returning New Zealand Olympic team, the Tamaroa bringing 97 assisted settlers and 93 Governmentsponsored passengers berthed yesterday afternoon. The balance of the passenger list was made up of men for mines, sawmills, State hydro-electric development works, engineering tradesmen, and some women and girls for domestic and factory work. The assisted settlers comprised 31 nurses, skilled tradesmen for the Post and Telegraph Department and shorthand typistes.
