Majestic.—A bright holiday programme is to be found in “Under Nevada Skies,” in which action and music are blended with adventure. Roy Rogers and Trigger head the list of stars,, which includes Dale Evans, George “Gabby” Hayes, and Llie Sons of the Pioneers. In tile afternoon the second feature will be a western drama starring Charles Sturrett,. but. the second feature at night will be “High Tide,” a mystery drama starring Lee Tracey and Julie Bishop. Episode 12 of “The Phantom" will be screened at both sessions. King's “Return of Badmen,” the present feature, is described at "the mightiest saga of frontier outlaws." Those who like daring riders am! men quick on the trigger should find plenty of excitement when the Daltons and the James boys ride on their nefarious raids. Prominent actors are Randolph Scott, Anne Jeffreys and George Hayes. . To further provide for the children, a morning matinee will be held on Wednesday at 10.30 o’clock.. Regent.—" The Loves of Joanna. Godden,” starring Coogee Withers, Jean Kent, John McCallum and Derek Bond, is the current attraction at the Regent. Presented by J. Arthur Rank, the British picture is pictorinlly beautiful and is earning the praise of competent critics everywhere.
