1 KILLED, 2 HURT WHEN CAR HITS TELEGRAPH POLE
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 30. The driver was killed and two other men suffered injuries which necessitated their admission to the Christchurch Public Hospital when at motorcar travelling from Sumner to Christchurch Public Hospital when a motorout of control and crashed into a telegraph pole. The victims were: KILLED Frederick Herbert Anderson, aged 27, single, motor painter, 134 Victoria street. INJURED Mr. Ernest Hutchison, Oxford Mr. James Henshaw. Mr. Hensaw this morning was reported to be seriously ill. Mr. Hutchison’s condition was reported to be satisfactory.
A fourth man in the car, Mr. Harold John Anderson, a brother of the man killed, was not injured.
