DUTCH REJOICING : QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY

'<ll a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 29. Queen Wilhelmina, who has been in retirement since May 13 owing to illhealth, will tomorrow again become the constitutional head of the Netherlands for six days to celebrate her 68th birthday and golden jubilee on Tuesday. Queen Wilhelmina will officially abdicate on September 4. The three main canals and main streets of Amsterdam and the Palace Square have been festooned with 250,000 lights and garland with flowers and tingling bells. Gifts to the Queen arrived from people in every walk of life.
