N.Z. PASTURE EXPERTS TO VISIT BRITAIN
(P.A.) TIMARU, Aug. 4. “The assistant Director-General of Agriculture, Mr R. B. Tennent, will leave today for Britain on a visit lasting several months to study British agriculture and advise farmers in the United Kingdom, on the establishment and maintenance of pastures," said the Director General, Mr. E. J. Fawcett, in officially opening the winter farm course at Timaru yesterday afternoon. Mr. Tennent will be joined later in the year by Mr. E. B. Levy, director ot the grasslands division, Mr. Fawcett added.
