JULY RAINFALL OF 2.571 N. WELL BELOW AVERAGE

With the exception of January and February, two drought months, less rain fell in Gisborne during July than in any month this year. The rainfall recorded at Darton Field last month was 2.57 in., while the recording at signal station, Kaiti Beach, was 3.29 in.
