INTERNATIONAL SI’ORT.— An international sport union to circulate information on the games of every country, arrange tours, transplant codes, and assist in the exchange of coaches was advocated by an American physical culture expert. Mr. C. K. Dellmuth, who arrived at Auckland in the Marine Phoenix on his way to Australia to study football codes. Last year he introduced Australian rules for football at Swnrthmore College. Pennsylvania. Enthusiasts in Australia were so pleased with the results that they wanted to send a team to America. If the Governments of the world were not prepared to organise an international sport union, Mr. Dellmuth said, it might well be left to a private trust, such as the Carnegie Foundation. “I am firmly convinced,” he added, "that sport can play a big part in preserving world peace.”
