THREE CONTRASTING PLAYS ENTERTAIN
Three entertaining one-act plays were presented to a capacity audience at the Gisborne Repertory Society’s rooms on Thursray night and drew appreciative comment from those who witnessed them. “Shall We Join The Ladies?” by J. M. Barrie, was produced by Cora Oman with the following cast: James Nicol. Barbara Langlands, Basil Page, Joyce Gandell, Tony Bain, Richard Willock, Margaret Musgrave, Lilian Godfrey, Jack Gandell, Noeline Mcßae, Nancy Bramwell, Hugh Chrisp, Cora Oman, A If. Silvester and June Morlcv.
Another play by Barrie, “The Twelve Pound Look", followed, with a cast comprising Muriel Barker, Alan Gardner, Muriel and Cyril Tomlinson. This was produced by Fran. Burns. “Murder at Eight”, by J. T. Delaney, was the final presentation, produced by June Irvine. The players were Les. Slrnchan, Richard Harris, Jean Sainsbury and Barry Irvine.
