Slow Murder.
Mrs. Mary Clay Walts, aged 45, of Cincinnati, Ohio, lias been charged with the slow murder of her 11-year-old daughter Barbara by giving her little doses of mercury over many months. Doctors could not, explain the emaciated girl’s long illness until the police dug up the body of the woman's husband fdied in 1944) and found arsenic in it.
