RICCARTON CANDIDATES RACING AT WASHDYKE

AT the South Canterbury Hunt meeting’ at Washdyke tomorrow most interest will be taken in horses that will be racing at Riccarton next week.

Good fields arc carded, with a number of last week’s place-getters at Waimale engaged. Although it rained last week-end, the driest winter for many years has been experienced in most parts of the South Island so that conditions underfoot may be firm.
