JUNIOR SOCCER REPS. TO PLAY ON GISBORNE FIELD

The Poverty Bay junior soccer representatives, who defeated Hawke’s Bay at Gisborne in the opening round recently, aic to meet Wellington, also on the Gisborne ground, on Saturday of next week in the North Island semifinal of the Junior National Cup contest.
Advice to that effect was received at this week’s meeting of the P.B. association management committee. The winners of the P.8.-Wellington game are to meet South Auckland in the North Island final, the victors in which play the South Island champions in th.e Dominion final. The Wellington junior team to play in the Gisborne game has been announced as follows:
Wellington Junior Reps.—K. Lander (Marist), R. Holmes tPetone team, O. J. Smith (Railways), C. Mann (Railways). K. Prister (Stop Out), R. Pollock (Seatown), R. Becker tWaterside', E. Ingram (Petone Tech. O.B.), ,1. Fox (Seatown). P. Taylor (Miramar Rangers), W. Anderson (Railways), C. Haines (Petone Tech. O.B.). As a preliminary to the Wellington game the Poverty Bay juniors are to meet the Hawke's Bay juniors again on the Gisborne ground on Saturday when the respective senior combinations meet in the Rose Bowl match. The P. team to meet Wellington in the Junior National Cup semi-final will be finalised after the Hawke’s Bay game. The teams for Saturday are:
