The Hetekia Cup competition of the Turanganui Golf Club is well under way. Survivors are to play in the third round this week as under: P. Kaua and H. Croskery; ,T. Kaua and T. MeMurray; G- Butler and R. Rare; L. Hughes and E. Goodwin; R. Clarke and L. Freeman; R. Dolman and G. Farmer; A. Nicholson and T, Warren; J. Davies and T. Ellis.
Results of men’s stroke competitions played recently are.-—Medal: P. Edwards, 90-24-66; J. Kaua, 82-15-67; T. McMurray, 81-12-69. Bogey: A. Nicholson, one down; D. B. Tennent, two down; P. Edwards, 3 down. Winners of the L.G.U. medal are: A. section, Mrs. I. Robb; B section, Mrs. J. Ria; C section, Miss D. Doreen. Stableford winners are: A section, Mrs M. Kaua; B section, Mrs. U- Ivess: C section, Mrs. K. Underdown. A rules evening is to be held next week.
