CURE FOR STAMMERING?
LONDON, June 20. A Glasgow school teacher, Mr. W. C. Kerr, claims that he can cure stammering in half an hour. He demonstrated on 23 “incurable” cases to medical sceptics who became convinced that his cure is workable.
Mr. Kerr says: “If there is no physical defect I can give any stammerer of normal health and intelligence power to speak slowly, without faltering in 30 minutes, and a complete switch-over to normal fluency in three weeks.”
Mr, Kerr is not revealing his secret yet. He says that it began when he discovered the value of psychological treatment. His method short-circuits orthodox psycho-analysis and can be passed on to doctors and psychologists in 15 minutes.
