DOUBLE HONOURS FOR W. J. BURTON IN RIFLE SHOOTING
Double honours were gained by W. J. Burton in Saturday night’s matches conducted by the Gisborne Miniature Rifle Club, when lie became the first member to score a possible this season and also carried off the A Grade trophy. B. Elliott shot consistently well over the three shoots and ran out the winner of the B grade trophy. Mrs. Williams, who was top-scorer in the women’s section on Saturday night, was also the winner of the women’s trophy.
