DENTISTS STAND ALOOF FROM HEALTH SERVICE

(10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 20. Members of the British Dental Association .decided by an overwhelming majority not to take part in the national health service, according to a statement which the board of the association issued after a meeting today. The meeting decided to send letters to all members urging them to remain out of the scheme. The board issued a statement declaring that the association's members were profoundly dissatisfied at the Minister of Health’s refusal to grant any of the association’s basic principles in the health service, at the hurried and incomplete way in which the remuneration negotiations were carried through, and the lack of security by which a whole salaried service can be introduced by regulation alone.
