REV. E. B. MOORE’S SERMON

Sir.—l was interested to note that the Prime Minister thinks he_ knows more about the ethics of Christianity than the reverend gentleman whose sermon apparently did not meet with his approval. I would suggest that it would be wiser for the two Ministers to confine their comments i to their respective spheres of operation. Politics and religion are two different things. Neither can be expected to properly understand the ideologies of the other. A proper appreciation of these facts would have saved us from what some of us deem a very regrettable publicity over a very controversial matter. —DIOGENES.
