“Till-ticklers.”
‘'Till-ticklers” came in for a verbal lambasting from Mr. P. G. Connolly. M-P„ in an address to electors in Dunedin. for. he said, they were the people who kept the rates of taxation so high by their nefarious deeds. He said he would like to withdraw nil the largedenomination notes from circulation, for the “till-tickler” would then be discovered trying to change his hoarded wealth.
