GIANT U.S JET BOMBER DESTROYED

(11 a.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, June 6. The world’s most powerful and longest range jet plane, the “Flying Wing," crashed near the Air Force’s base at Muroc today, killing all five members of the crew.

The plane, powered by eight jet engines with a total thrust equal to 32,000 horse-power, was destroyed.
