PANAMANIAN SETS NEW SPRINT RECORD
(10 a.m.) NEW YORK, June 6. Lloyd La Beach, of Panama, ran 200 metres in 20.2 sec. at Compton, California last night, bettering the world record of 20.3 sec. held by Jesse Owens.
Beach also ran 100 metres in 10.25ec., equalling the world record.
