VON NIDA WINS £1250 GOLF TOURNEY
LONDON, June 4. The Australian, Norman von Nida, won the £1250 Spalding golf tournament at St. Andrews with an aggregate of 289 for 72 holes. He took the lead at the end of the third round after a fine 71. F. Bullock equalled the course record with 67 in the final round. The leading scores are: von Nida 289; Bullock and R. A. Whitcombc 291, Padgham 292, R. Burton 293
