GIRL INJURED BY TRUCK AT TE KARAKA
Knocked down by a passing truck in the vicinity of Tc Karaka about 7-30 p.m. yesterday a young Maori woman was later admitted to the Cook Hospital severely injured. She is Miss Hlncrau Kuru, aged 16, Te Karaka
Miss Ruru was walking along the road with two companions near Te Karaka township when she was struck by a sheep truck proceeding in the direction of Matawai The truck did not stop following the collision. The Cook Hospital reported this morning that Miss Ruru’s condition was satisfactory, but she had shown no change since her admittance last night.
