MESSRS. CHARLES PERCY AND KENNETH F. SMITH have been appointed members of the Tolaga Bay Harbour Board, in place of Messrs. V. F. Hurlstone and P. T. Weeks, who have resigned.—S.R. MR. W. APPLETON. Mayor of Wellington, and Mrs. Appleton, left by the Port Wellington from Wellington yesterday for the United Kingdom. They expect to be away three to four months. MR. I. TOLERTON, chairman, presided over Dr. A. L. Singer, Inspector J. Mclntvre, and Messrs. L. Miles, C. J. Cox, W. L. Irwin, J. H. R. Egan. W. Finlay. G. J. Jeune and N. 11. Bull at Thursday's monthly meeting of the Automobile Association .(Auckland).
