COLOUR PHOTOS OF VATICAN FRESCOES
LONDON, June 2.
Mr. David Waddington, aged 43, a London photographer, is going to Koine on the world’s biggest photographic assignment—to record in direct colour the famous frescoes in the Vatican.
A major task will be photographing Mieha'-langclo’s work in the Sist.ine C’lmpel. This will take several weeks at a cost, of £SOO for each exposure. Mr. Waddingfon says lie will require more scaffolding than .Michael.unge.lo needed when painting the chapel. The results will be produced in a book, “The Living'Vatican.”
