DIVINE HEALING AS COMPLEMENT TO DOCTORS

(11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 3. The Bishop of Lincoln, the Rt. Rev. M. 11. Harland, advocated divine healing as a complement to the work of the doctors in his presidential address at the Lincoln diocesan conference.

The Bishop announced the appointment of three clergymen to specialise in divine healing and to be available for doctors ana patients when called upon. The Bishpp said the ethical committee was convinced that divine healing was in no way a substitute for the medical profession, but they and the church should be partners.
