Glsborne-Whakatane Highway At the monthly meeting of the Opotikr Chamber of Commerce, a letter was received from the Gisborne Chamber of Commerce acquainting the chamber with a resolution passed at a recent meeting, of that chamber, asking the Minister of Works to give his immediate attention to still further and much needed improvements on the GisborneWhakatane main highway. The Opotiki chamber decided to give support to the resolution, laying particular stress on the need of improvements between Opotiki and Tane'atua. Mr. A. R. Stott also mentioned the need of improvements to the East Coast scenic road.
