King s.--Starring Margaret Lockwood with I atneia Hoc and Dennis Price, J. Arthur Lank $ leehnicolour film, “Jassy," opens tomorrow. Margaret Lockwood is the daughter ot a gipsy who marries to recover for a friend ni.s ancestral seat. In the book Jassy was hanged for a murder she did not commit, but in the film she is tried, found guilty, but not hanged, as her dumb servant confesses to the crime herself. As the lawyer says, the recovery of her voice at so convenient a point (except for the dumb girl) is surely a miracle. Miss Lockwood has much the same role ns the “Wicked Lady,” but in a slightly different way.

Regent.—“ This Time For Keeps” concludes at the Regent today. Those favourite “highwaymen” are on the move again. Ring Crosby and Rob Hope, aided and abetted by Dorothy Lam our, have hit the road. This time its the “Road to Rio,” which opens tomorrow at the Regent. On their previous “trips” to Singapore, Morocco, Zanzibar, and Utopia, these clowns have hit the high spots in wonderful fun and song, but this trek to South America even outdoes them. Its gags come thick and fast, the laughs are just, one long continuous one, and the songs arc more tuneful than ever.

Majestic.—Today's programme presents a well balanced double bill. “Thrill of Brazil” is a lavish South American fiesta of music, laughter and romance with a strong cast headed by Evelyn Keyes, Ann Miller, Keenan Wyne and the dancers Veloz and Yolanda. The associate thriller, "The Phantom Speaks,” stars Richard Arlen, Lynne Roberts and Stanley Ridges. Episode 12 of the serial opens the sessions at 1.45 and 7.30.
