LEAGUE REPLACEMENT
TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA (P.A.) AUCKLAND, May 15. A Rugby League forward, A. Laird, of the Richmond club, Auckland, has been selected for the tour of Australia. He replaces the West Coast breakaway forward, K. Mountford, who was injured in the North-South match. Laird played break-away for North on Saturday opposite Mountford, who toured England and France. Laird represented Auckland last year and narrowly missed selection in the Kiwi team.
