POSITIVE DIAGNOSIS
PATIENT FROM PUTERE (S.R.) WAIROA, April 28. A third patient, a married man from Puterc, admitted to hospital as a suspect of infantile paralysis, is now reported to be a positive case. This case is an adult European male. SAMOAN BAN LIFTED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 27. The poliomyelitis restrictions imposed by the Samoan authorities are lifted as from today and the territory is now open again, says a statement issued by the public relations officer of tue National Airways Corporation. Air services will be resumed by the corporation immediately. Though there is a medical surveillance for persons entering Samoa, the quarantine deposit has been waived.
