FALSE FIRE ALARMS
WELLINGTON CONCERN (P.A.) WELLINGTON. April 27. Concern at the increase in malicious false alarms during the year was expressed by the Chairman of the Wellington Fire Board, Mr. S. S. Dean, when the annual fire figures were considered by the board Mr. Dean directed attention to the large number of malicious alarms recorded during March—23 compared ■with 34 justifiable alarms. llie increase over the year in these malicious calls to the brigade was 28— 126 compared with 98 in the preceding year. ____________
