What is a Peep?
A report in the Christchurch Press of an accident to a peep in Taranaki led to a number of inquiries from readers who wondered if it was a misprint for jeep. Several returned servicemen who were questioned remembered quite plainly that there was an American service vehicle called a peep, but were not very sure what it was, some saying that it was like a jeep but smaller; others that it was larger. One of them resolved the discussion by saying definitely that a peep was a scout car, a little larger than a jeep, with light armoured protection against splinters. THE DAILY DOSE DOES IT Whether you clean your shoes in the morning or use the overnight method; whether you wear black shoes or brown shbes, you will definitely obtain a faster shine and a more lasting shine if you use “Nugget” Shoe Polishes. There is a special "Nugget” shade for every shoe made. To preserve a good appearance, regular shoe cleaning is desirable. The daily dose of "Nugget” does it.
