NO RADIO JAMMING
N.Z. AND AUSTRALIA (P.A.) WELLINGTON. April 24. The director of the National Broad casting Service, Professor Shelley, denied that there is any threat to Australian radio stations from jamming oecause of the New Zealand Government’s decision to allow Dominion stations to increase their power. He added that New Zealand and Australia had reached a mutual agreement at a special conference in Melbourne on March 10 and that the possibility of future jamming was mentioned. The Canberra report was exaggerated.
