BAKER, presided at the monthly meeting of the Cook County Council held on Thursday. There were also present Messrs M. L. Holden. J. T. Gordon. J. R. Hair, R. Graham, J. Eivers, M. T. B. Hall, R. C. Murphy, A. S. Gibson, F. S. Bowen and L. C. C. Field. ARCHBISHOP MCKEEFRY, Wellington, Bishop Liston, Auckland, Bishop Lyons, Christchurch, and Bishop O’Neill Dunedin, left Auckland by Sky master air-liner for Sydney on Thursday afternoon to attend the centennial celebrations of the foundations of the Belbourne archdiocese.
