PARALYSIS INCREASE „ AUCKLAND PROVINCE (P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 24. Tnree positive cases of infantile paralysis were reported from the far north yesterday. They were an infant from Pawarcnga and a man from Motukaraka, both in the Hokianga County, who were reported as suspects on Thursday, and a 10-year-old girl from Awanui. Another four positive cases were reported in the South Auckland health district. They were a girl aged nine years and a woman aged 31 years from Otorohanga, a woman aged 21 years from Taumarunui, and a woman aged 27 years from Mokau. A three-year-old girl from Frankton was admitted to the Waikato Hospital as a suspected case. The male student teacher from the Auckland Teachers’ Training College who was diagnosed as a positive case a week ago has been reclassified as negative.
