(11 a.m.) CATE TOWN, April 23. Tlio Prime Minister, General J. C. Smuts, in a speech, urged South Africa’s defence forces to “keep your armour bright.” ‘‘lt is no longer the case of small isolated nations sparring,” he added. “A powerful juggernaut is on the move. The present time is the most grave and dangerous in history. “We do not want war, therefore we must be prepared. We want him to know that he must either stop or fight his way through, thereby facing danger himself.”
