COSTA RICAN REVOLT
ARMY JUNTA TAKING OVER “DEFEAT OF COMMUNISM” (10 a.m.) SAN JOSE. April 22. General Jose- Figueres, leader of the successful Right Wing revolution, announced today that he would form a military junta to lake over the Government on May 8 and then would rewrite the constitution for the “second Republic." National elections would be held after the constitution was adopted. General Figueres said he believed he had scored a complete victory over communism in Costa Rica and added: “But if they don't consider themselves defeated, row we will prove it*.”
