INQUIRY INTO LIQUOR PRICES
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 24. A LTHOUGH there has been delay in completing the necessary investigations. the Price Tribunal still intends to proceed with its inquiry into liquor prices as reported on February 6 last. Officers of the Price Investigation Tribunal have been making inquiries for some months and it is expected that the public hearing will take place in about a month. The inquiry arises out of criticism of the Price Tribunal contained in the report of the Royal Commission on Licensing. One of the principal concerns of the tribunal will be the various measures used for the supply of beer in hotel bars.
