NO FURTHER PROGRESS

AUSTRIAN PEACE TREATY DEPUTIES’ DEADLOCK (10.20 a.m.) LONDON, April 22. The Soviet delegation wishes to eliminate any reference to voluntary repatriation. The deouties reached a deadlock over the article concerning the preservation of Austria’s independence and declined the British suggestion to discuss the economic clauses until it has settled the question of German assets.
