FAST ACTION EXPECTED MONDAY’S TOURNEY A keen demand for reservations indicates that a capacity house should greet the ring displays in the allamatcur tournament with which the Gisborne Boxing Association is opening the season at the Opera House on Monday evening. The programme of a dozen contests is to be. provided by the pick of the amateurs in the Gisborne and Hawke s Bay districts and should prove full of willing action coupled, in the majority of cases, with skill acquired by con siderablc experience. i Matchings already arranged are: D. Neill v. J. Clough; F. Phelps v. J. Leahy; R. Keelan v. R. Evans; R Duckworth (Napier) v. H. Underdown; Buckingham (Te Karaka) v. D. Roll's (Te Karaka); Kingi v. I. Kerr; RWeeks (Hastings) v. T. Mclntyre: B. Butler (Hastings) v. Peter Graham; J. Westhall v. Bill Le Prou; B. O'Shaughnessy v. E. Morete.
