NEW FIFTH SEA LORD
VICE-ADMIRAL CREASY (10 a.m.) LONDON, April 21. The Admiralty announced that ViceAdmiral G. E. Creasy has been appointed Fifth Sea Lord and deputy
Chief of the Naval Air Staff in succession to Vice-Admiral Sir Philip Vian as from September 29. Vice-Admiral Creasy as RearAdmiral of aircraft-carriers and- air stations of the British Pacific Fleet and East Indies, visited New Zealand in 1947 in the aircraft-carrier Theseus.
