PARK GOLF CLUB

PLAYERS RETAIN FORM Members of the Park Golf Club inspected the new layout of the links over the week-end as a preliminary to the official opening which takes place next Saturday. Players generally appear to have retained last year’s form and some good cards have been submitted to the match committee. . On Saturday members engaged in a four-ball, best-ball Stableford bogey match, J. Reed and J. Toye leading the field home with 39 points. Previous leading cards in a medal round were: L. Roderick, 75, 8, 67; N. Williams, 81, 14, 67; R. Clark, 90. 21, 69: F. Adcroft, 86, 17, 69. Ron Muir came home one over which looks good for the last year’s champion.
